HANGING BRIDGES

The suspension bridge tour consists of 3.06 kilometers of trails in which our visitors will find eight bridges of different sizes, which range between 57 and 170 meters in length. The suspension bridges of Selvatura Park have a width of 1.50 meters and a capacity of up to 80 people per bridge, which converts the suspension bridges of Selvatura Park not only into the system's larger suspension bridges, but also into the toughest in Costa Rica. 

In addition to this, the hanging bridges of Selvatura Park are certified by the Federated College of Engineers and Architects of Costa Rica, which ensures that they have been built following the best construction standards and offer the best possible quality. Come see these magnificent structures, which were assembled in San José and then transported to Monteverde to be carried by our workers inside the forest, minimizing environmental damage.

Hanging bridges can be enjoyed by people of all ages and physical conditions. Almost the entire path is flat, and the hills are small. The path is a circuit, which ensures that our visitors will not be lost and that they can walk at their own pace. Transportation is included into the price, and note that if you want to arrive on your own, the price is the same.

WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE? Access to the hanging bridges trails and transportation. 

WHAT SHOULD I BRING? Comfortable clothing, tennis shoes and camera.

DEPARTURES FROM SELINA: 7:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM.

TOUR SCHEDULE: 8:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 13:00 PM and 2:30 PM. 

DURATION: 2.5 Hours + Transportation.

**(1) Certain tour operators and shuttle companies require a minimum number of people to run the tour or transportation service. In the event that they do not meet this requirement, the tour will not be offered and we will work with you to book a different tour. (2) Tours may be canceled due to inclement weather, strikes, blocked roads, or any other reason beyond our control. (3) A client must cancel at least 48 hours in advance if they wish to cancel. Any reservation made less than 48 hours in advance must be canceled at least 8 hours in advance. (4) In the case of a cancellation by the tour operator, a refund will be offered to participating guests. (5) Selina is not responsible for any property or items lost during the tour. (6) For some tours / transportation / rental equipment, clients are required to sign a waiver at the Selina property. (7) The times in the descriptions are approximate times and are subject to change depending on availability and conditions.
