CANOPY + HANGING BRIDGES

Visitors will have the opportunity to appreciate the wide variety of flora and fauna of Monteverde and observe the endemic biodiversity of the cloud forest canopy, which is not found anywhere else in the world. The treetop walkways provide the best vantage point to observe the beauty of the cloud forest at all its levels.

The tour is the only zip-line tour built entirely inside the cloud forest. Guests will begin by ziplining and then enjoy the discovery of the hanging bridges. They will cross through the unique Cloud Forest in a canopy suspended over the forest while attached to high weight-capacity cables and using specialized climbing gear.

This provides a wonderful experience and sensations only comparable to those of flying through the forest. This tour not only combines the thrill of one of Costa Rica’s most safe and popular adventures but also provides a unique vantage point of the cloud forest, which in the past was reserved only for certain scientists brave enough to climb up to the forest canopy. Transportation is included into the price, and note that if you want to arrive on your own, the price is the same.

DEPARTURES FROM SELINA: 7:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM.

TOUR SCHEDULE: 8:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 2:30 PM

DURATION: 4 hours + transportation.

**(1) Certain tour operators and shuttle companies require a minimum number of people to run the tour or transportation service. In the event that they do not meet this requirement, the tour will not be offered and we will work with you to book a different tour. (2) Tours may be canceled due to inclement weather, strikes, blocked roads, or any other reason beyond our control. (3) A client must cancel at least 48 hours in advance if they wish to cancel. Any reservation made less than 48 hours in advance must be canceled at least 8 hours in advance. (4) In the case of a cancellation by the tour operator, a refund will be offered to participating guests. (5) Selina is not responsible for any property or items lost during the tour. (6) For some tours / transportation / rental equipment, clients are required to sign a waiver at the Selina property.
